Hey guys! I'm the one in the trio who's responsible for  how you will see a Star Wars book being mentioned in almost all of the recommendation posts. I think that saying my favorite Star Wars show is Rebels should tell you almost everything you need to know about me. Besides being part of a universe I'm obsessed with, Rebels also reflects the "found family" trope, and my love for it is mirrored by the presence of Six of Crows (by Leigh Bardugo) and The Raven Boys (by Maggie Stiefvater) on my "favorites" Goodreads shelf. If you look into this shelf, you will also see some High School Rom-Coms, The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang, books from the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe, and lots of Cassandra Clare. Also, my favorite Taylor Swift album is evermore.
